Throughout Ajna’s quest she’ll encounter many “Incarnations”: people whom she can absorb and manifest to fight alongside her. There are many Incarnations to recruit, each with their own story and personality. By uniting people from faraway lands, Ajna will learn about herself, the world she inhabits, and most importantly, how to save it.
One day while Leilani was fishing, a storm suddenly came, destroying her boat and stranding Leilani on an unfamiliar island. Leilani prayed to her ancestors for guidance.
The next morning, an 'aumakua appeared before her in the form of a shark, and said it would lead her to safety and protect her on her journey.
Floating on a board, Leilani paddled behind it until she spied land. Much to her surprise, this wasn’t her island, but a very different land than the one she’d come to know. A land full of strange new people, places and possibilities.
Initially frightened, Leilani realizes that her 'aumakua must have guided here for a reason, and decides to make the most of it and explore this exciting new land.
